The world’s largest listed online gambling operator, Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, has announced that its bwin.com casino and sportsbetting site has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with German handball team THW Kiel.

The agreement will see the Bwin.com logo for the site appear on the shorts of the two-time European Handball Federation Champions League winners at all Toyota Handball-Bundesliga matches from 2012.

THW Kiel has won the Handball-Bundesliga a record 16 times and finished as runner-up last season and the sponsorship deal will also see the domain’s branding present on rolling advertising hoardings and in the goal area at the 13,500-seat Sparkassen-Arena as well as in the venue’s official magazine and on video screens.
