| Chinese Football Federation Chairman Dismissed |

The chairman of the Chinese Football Federation has been dismissed over allegations of possible involvement in the on going betting scandal. The vice-chairman and the man responsible for the oversight of women's football have also been dismissed.
In China, 21 federations members in total have now been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the betting scandal. German authorities made it known two months ago that two hundred people and matches in different countries are suspected of involvement or of being manipulated. |
