The Czech Football Association has punished one of the country's clubs, Olomouc, for a bribery case in 2009. The club which plays in the Czech Republic's top league has been deducted by nine points and recieved a fine of €164,000.

The disciplinary commission ruled that Olomouc is guilty of match fixing regarding the match against Bohemians. Olomouc needed to win this match for them to qualify for the Champions League.

The Bohemians' goalkeeper was bribed with a large sum of €12,000, with the knowledge that Olomouc would win 3-0 and qualify for the Champions League.
