Monday, 29 August 2011 10:07

The Turkish national football federation has decided that there will be no penalties handed out in the vast bribery scandal afflicting Turkish football. The Football Association believes that there is insufficient hard evidence to punish the defendant directors.

The accused directors and players of Besiktas and Trabzonspor are still not out of trouble.

The Turkish judiciary is also interested in the case and is currently conducting an investigation and therefore the case is not closed.
